Pics: Actor Samantha visits Isha Foundation after Telangana minister’s comments

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu spent the first day of Navaratri at Coimbatore’s Isha Foundation, Tamil Nadu. She shared a couple of pictures from her temple visit, where she can be seen praying to the deity. This temple visit comes a day after Telangana minister Konda Surekha made derogatory comments about her divorce with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. Samantha issued a statement asking her to refrain from passing comments on her personal life and ‘keep her name out’ of her political battles.
On October 3, which marks the first day of Navatri 2024, the actor spent quality time at Isha Foundation. She shared photos and wrote, “I took your word for it. Thank you Devi! Happy Navaratri to all of you (sic).”

The actor was seen wearing an all-red outfit inside the temple premesis. It looks like she will be spending a couple of days in Coimbatore.
Recently, Samantha was embroiled in a controversy after Telangana Congress minister Konda Surekha said that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao aka KTR was responsible for the actor’s divorce with Naga Chaitanya.
The Super Deluxe actor issued a statement stating that the divorce is her personal life and asked her to stop commenting on it. She also stated that she has remained apolitical and asked her to keep her name out of her political battles.
Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna and the entire family condemned Surekha’s speech. Nagarjuna sued her for her malicious remarks about the Akkineni family. The entire Telugu film industry, including Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun called her out for her comments on Telugu actors.
